Reminders that ring

It rings on the minute. You finish it from the notification.

Reminders arrive at the exact time, even when the app is closed, and come back after your phone restarts. Tap Done or Later without opening anything.

  • The right action, right there. Call now opens the dialer, Send now opens WhatsApp with your draft, Directions opens maps.
  • Busy? Remind me later. In 10 minutes, in an hour, tonight or tomorrow.

The 24-hour dial shows every reminder as a coloured dot. Tap one to see it in the centre with its main action. Below it, today's list with a big Done circle for each item.

  • Nothing slips. Missed reminders stay on Today as Late until you finish them.
  • A morning summary at 8:00 tells you how many things are waiting today.

How to install

Is Fakkarni free?

Yes. Fakkarni is free to download, with no ads and no account.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Everything lives on your phone and reminders ring without internet. Internet is only used if you turn on Google Drive backup.

Will reminders still ring after I restart my phone?

Yes. Fakkarni puts your reminders back after a restart and rings on the minute, even when the app is closed.

Why does it ask for “Alarms & reminders”?

That Android permission lets a reminder ring at the exact minute. Without it, Android may deliver reminders up to about 10 minutes late.

Does it support Arabic?

Yes. Arabic is first-class: a full right-to-left interface, Arabic fonts and natural wording, with Arabic or Western digits. Switch language any time in Settings.

How do I move my reminders to a new phone?

Turn on Google Drive backup. On the new phone, connect the same Google account during setup and restore. Backups live in a private app folder in your own Drive.

Is it safe to install the APK?

Download it only from this page. You can compare the SHA-256 checksum shown above with the file you downloaded. The app needs no account and sends nothing to us.

Is Fakkarni on Google Play or iPhone?

Google Play is coming soon; until then you can install the APK from this page. An iPhone version is not planned for the first release.
